Autumn Colour–Groynes at work

Autumn colour is still the theme of the season, but looking at the trees, I was beginning to wonder what the colour of the season really was. I asked myself if this was really the time of year when everything is russet and covered in a golden hue. I think we might have to wait a little for that, nevertheless, I’ll keep my eyes open.

I found a little of the right colour in the sand. The groynes are working hard here to reduce long-shore drift.

Just part of the bigger picture, but there  are ships on the horizon heading north, if you follow the line of the groynes to the horizon.
